I'd like to be able to set a way point "path", either as an actual point-to-point path or just via multiple numbered waypoints. This is useful when driving around to avoid having to do multiple map checks, or going the wrong way (which passengers don't appreciate if you are in a Sunderer). This would come in particularly useful on Amerish, which is intentionally designed (…continues)
Harraser, Enforcer, Marauder, Thresher. I think everyone agree that we really need this class of vehicles (2-3 man light assault buggies)
Vehicle weapons stabilization is needed. In PS1 we had horizontal vehicle weapon stabilization and it was great, in PS2 we should have both horizontal and vertical but instead we have nether right now:( This would make vehicle combat way more intense with high speed move while shooting engagement like real tank warfare not stop and shoot like we have now. Vehicle (…continues)
The game currently brings up a Windows crash dialog any time you exit. This is easily dismissed and there are no adverse effects.
It seems the the NS Annihilator is not working correctly. I have been in situations where I've locked on, fired it, the sound and graphics triggered as if it had launched a rocket, but no rocket was removed from my inventory and no hit registered (no rocket was displayed in flight and no hit was rendered either- the targets were in fairly close range, some static so (…continues)
The overlaid information on the main map view is currently showing wrong information for point capture data (i.e. shows some captures points as being controlled by the enemy, and vice versa), mixing up some 'friend or foe' colours for vehicles and displaying incorrect icons for generator status (e.g. may show as blinking and in need of repair, when is undamaged). This (…continues)
When a player is talking via in-game VOIP the game audio ducks (or reduces in volume) to make it easier to hear what people are saying. This is a good thing. The problem is it still happens even when the player talking is muted. This is annoying especially if the person is constantly talking or broadcasting audio (usually people playing music, but that's a separate (…continues)
In GU07, the changes I make to the squad privacy setting often don't stick. I suspect that may be because some combinations of privacy, outfit, friends and recruitment are redundant or incompatible. If that's the case, it may be worthwhile to redesign the GUI to properly support all typical use cases. If the current set of checkboxes is to be kept, inconsistent or (…continues)
After playing in VR last night, I logged on today to find the "Suit" slot changed on every class and every loadout - there were reset to an empty slot. The loadouts on vehicles were also impacted - I've just checked and the "Utility" and "Performance" slots on every loadout for the vehicles I tried in VR were reset to an "empty slot" as well. Slots I didn't try out in (…continues)
Joystick support is broken. In addition to not being able to break out arbitrary axes to inputs (such as swapping roll and yaw for the mouse if desired, see http://planetside-tracker.com/suggestions/16/air-vehicle-yawroll-swapping/), actual stick input is not being properly handled. Stick input will lock to the opposite of the last input received and stay there until a (…continues)
